Il risultato di contaminazioni di ambiti sonori differenti: la world music è presente principalmente nelle percussioni africane e latino-americane, il soul è un chiaro riferimento dello stile vocale e delle linee melodiche impiegate, e infine il jazz è evidente nelle chitarre.
L’elettronica è il fil rouge di tutte le tracce ed ha l’intento di far vivere all’ascoltatore una vera e propria esperienza sonora.
Elementi fondamentali della mia musica sono un kick potente e incisivo, bassi synth pieni e corposi e lead tipici del genere dance elettronico.

She grew up at her parents farm in a small village in Latvia, where she started playing piano and accordion at the age of 7. After high school she started performing at various Folk Festivals and Music Clubs. Since then she has collaborated with various Austrian musicians and teamed up with Producer Christoph Holzknecht.
After two years of writing, arranging and recording, BAIBA released her debut album “These Storms” in autumn/winter 2017 followed by touring Europe.
Her
singles ‘Running’, ‘Light Inside’, ‘Touch You Right’ and ‘You Don’t
Know Me’ got radio airplay all around Europe and the songs had also been
featured in numerous Canadian and American music blogs. The latest
single ‘You Don’t Know Me’ is played in rotation by several of the
biggest Latvian radio stations: Radio SWH, Radio 5, Star FM.
